Men's Club MEN'S CLUB NEWSPlease help the Men's Club at 3 -7 PM Saturday, July 19, at the Methodist Church, Cochran and Erringer, to feed the needy. Any help will be a great Mitzvah!
1) Our meetings are the second Sunday of each month, and the fourth Sunday for breakfast. Our next meeting will be July 27, at the Santa Susanna Cafe on Kuehner at 9:00 AM. I am hoping we have more people come to our meetings. We look forward to meeting anyone new. Please bring a friend.
2) August 3 will be the Temple membership drive to sign up for your courtesy, if paid in full on this day. The Men's Club will be hosting a BBQ for the event. It will be at 4 PM. Details will be out as soon as I know.
3) We will be doing Simi Valley Days. Glenn, Eric K., Lloyd, and, of course, Wayne will be our leaders. We just will need manpower from everyone else. SV Days Schedule looks like this - changes to this will be minor, if any:
Wed. and Thurs., Sept 10 & 11 5 PM to 10 PM
Fri., Sept. 12 5 PM to 11 PM
Sat., Sept. 13 Noon to 11 PM
Sun., Sept. 14 Noon to 9 PM, then clean up.
Note that Fri. and Sat. we are closing an hour earlier than last year. We should start cleaning up at about 10 on those nights and on Wed. and Thurs. start cleaning up at 9. I will send out an email, so people can sign up. Hopefully, we will be blessed with help from Sisterhood. Last year was great. Please become involved.
There are so many people who have worked so hard for the Temple. This is the year for the Men's Club to become stronger than ever. Please, tell a friend, and let's grow.
