 TEMPLE CALENDAR

The Congregation B'nai Emet Moving Committee has been formed to make our hopeful transition to the Bonita property smooth, painless and exhilarating.

  • We need volunteers to work on a variety of projects related to the move and eventual celebration of our new home.
  • We will also need many boxes to pack our many books, supplies and Judaica. The boxes should be sturdy with the lids still intact.lease let us know if you have a van or pickup truck and would be willing to assist in the move.

Please contact the temple office at bnaiemet@rain.org to lend a hand.

BEFORE-NEED PROGRAM AT MOUNT SINAI MEMORIAL PARK (SIMI VALLEY) - CBE Fundraiser

A special program is available for until August 15 for "before-need" property and mortuary services, and it can benefit CBE as well.

Why should you even consider such a purchase? Buying cemetery property and pre-ordering mortuary services helps ease the emotional and financial burden on your loved ones at the time of need. Making rational and informed decisions about your arrangements in advance is a gift of love and support from you to your loved ones - they won't need to second-guess your wishes or deal with these very difficult issues at a time when they are least prepared to do so.

When ten single plots are purchased at Mount Simi Memorial Park in Simi Valley during this period of time, CBE will receive $10,000.

If you are interested in this program, please call Frank Tessel, Mount Sinai representative, at (805) 306-6410 or email him at FTessel@mountsinaiparks.org. Please be sure to mention CBE.

By making your arrangements through this special program, you will be performing a double mitzvah: your family members will thank you for relieving them of this responsibility and you will be supporting our temple as well.
